Scrap Booking Themes for Trips

This is part of a 3 page layout. They are all done basically with the same technique, just different photos.

This scrap booking theme involves a trip to the Chattanooga Aquarium over Spring Break this year. I took a ton of photos. I'm not necessarily a big fish person, but Gillian loves to look at the different fish and there were some really great colors, so I wanted to use more than a couple of photos. I decided to try and include as many as possible for this scrap book page idea. I cut out different shapes and sizes of cardboard and tried to center the best looking species in the middle of each shape. I saved all the scraps and used them as filler in between the more important photos. Another great way to use this technique is with sand or water shots. When you crop your beach photos, save the scraps and fill in some space. The square punch from CM makes perfect squares for this project.
