For this scrapbooking layout idea, I altered the photo I took on the computer before I had it developed. I used the "aged newspaper" option to change the vibrant colors to more muted tones. This was the last photo I took of her coming off the porch as she went to catch the bus. All of my other photos that morning were staged, this one was a last minute snap that turned out to be the best of the morning. Since the photo colors were muted, the brightly colored apple just didnt fit in with the layout. I used a little piece of sandpaper to rough up the apple and make it fit into the layout.The scrapbook verses I used was handwritten on parchment, then torn and I smudged the edges a bit. A few pencil embellishments and some metal corner accents finish the layout.
