One of my all time favorite scrapbook sample layout. Another batch of photos from the first day of school. It was a big hairy deal planning the best clothes for the first day of middle school. Wanting to be her own style, she and her friend Noelle are totally into Converse Hightop tennis shoes. The scrap book page idea I had was I wanted to remember how much she loved these shoes so I took a ton of photos that morning. I altered the color with PSP7 before I uploaded them to Snapfish.com for printing, but changing the overall color. I made my own tags and added journaling boxes with computer fonts on vellum.
I attached them to the scrapbook background paper with snaps and threaded shoe laces into them. I used a square punch to punch out openings into a strip of paper. I backed the squares with vellum and used pop-it's on the back of her tennis shoes to stick in the middle. (I just got about 10 copies of the photo, knowing I would cut them up) I used the computer to make a pink star and Hannah's name to resemble the Converse emblem. The letters for the title are Sizzix.
